I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is fantastic, perfect for hitting Oxford Street and Carnaby Street, so that's a major plus. However, the room was a letdown with issues like a broken TV and a draughty window. The breakfast was disorganized and didn’t meet my expectations for a hotel in this price range, leaving me wanting more.

The room was big but poorly equipped and a bit shabby. I had trouble with the TV, and the window wouldn't close properly, leading to a draughty experience.

Service was quite variable. While some staff were friendly, I felt a sense of unwelcomeness at times, particularly when I had to wait for assistance.

Breakfast was really poor—very disorganized and lacked variety. I had to ask for stuff like bowls and glasses, and when the hot items finally arrived, they were lukewarm at best.

Facilities were disappointing; despite being advertised, the pool was closed and the overall state of the amenities seemed neglected.

My stay at Courthouse Hotel London was a mixed experience. While I loved the historical architecture and prime location right by Carnaby Street, the service unfortunately did not meet expectations. The room I received initially was disappointing with maintenance issues, but the second room was better yet still lacked attentive service. It’s a shame given the hotel's potential and charm. 😕🏨

6.6/10

My stay at Courthouse Hotel London was definitely a mixed bag. While the location couldn't be better, right in the thick of things near the London Palladium, the hotel itself felt more like a tired hotel than a true five-star experience. I was left unimpressed by the cleanliness of the room and felt that the amenities were lacking, definitely not what I expected for the price. 😕

Rooms
5.0
The room was quite dark and had visible stains on the carpet, which made it feel uninviting. I also struggled with a hairdryer that frequently cut out and no staff followed up with a replacement.
Service
5.0
While some staff members were friendly and helpful, I encountered hostility from others. The reception experience was off to a bad start with an unwelcoming attitude, which dampened my stay.
Location
8.0
The central location was fantastic for accessing popular attractions and theatres, making it easy to enjoy the heart of London.
Dining

The breakfast selection was limited and underwhelming for a hotel of this caliber, served in a rather dingy area. Overall, the dining options lacked the quality expected.
Facilities

Facilities felt outdated; the lobby was tired, made worse by a lingering smell of stale smoke. The hotel had some unique features from its courthouse history, but the overall experience was disappointing.

I found the Courthouse Hotel London to be a mixed bag. While the location was prime for hitting up Oxford Street and other attractions, the actual state of the room and amenities left a lot to be desired. The service had its moments, but overall, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations for the price I paid.

Rooms

The room felt tired, with a chaise longue that looked like it could use a serious clean. There were some broken fixtures in the bathroom, and it just didn't have that fresh feeling that you'd hope for in a hotel like this.
Service
5.0
At check-in, the staff were friendly, but during my stay, the service was inconsistent. I sometimes felt neglected, especially when waiting for meals during afternoon tea.
Location

The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from shopping on Carnaby Street and a quick walk to the London Palladium. It's perfect for anyone looking to explore central London.
Dining

Breakfast was just okay; the hot food wasn't very warm and there weren't many choices. The afternoon tea wait was frustrating, and the quality didn't quite meet expectations.
Facilities

The pool experience was disappointing due to low water levels, and I was really hoping to make the most of that. The vibe in the bar was nice, but the swim didn't happen as I had planned.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Courthouse Hotel London. The historical architecture was intriguing and added a unique flair to the experience, but unfortunately, the room I first received was underwhelming (to put it mildly) with issues like dusty curtains and a distinct lack of cleanliness. The location was excellent, close to the London Palladium, making it convenient for my plans. However, the dining experience was disappointing, with food that could definitely have been warmer. Overall, the hotel feels like it needs some serious investment to meet its luxury claims.

Rooms

While some staff were friendly and accommodating, others were unhelpful, especially regarding the issues with my room.
Location
